i got this laptop to repair with no display, bios already been flashed by another repair store but device still dosent boot they programmed ut2 and ut5 also
laptop service tag : 54YTTp2
motherboard: LA-E331P REV 2.0
i also attached the backup bios but im not sure if its the right one

post merged...next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

I quickly went through the guide, and in the dell section 3.4 it suggested to replace the 6FF1 suffix (which has a bug) with 1F5A or BF97 or E7A8 suffix.

So, I have tried the following:

JOSHNN2-1F5A
JOSHNN2-BF97
JOSHNN2-E7A8

but none of the code generated from bios-pw.org/ worked.
Am I doing something wrong?

And if the " E7A8" suffix doesnt work try "BF97" suffix? Mine E7A8" doesnt work wth bios pw generated code.. i dont have my laptop available either atm.. but do you think t could work? the other way around to..?? "BF97" sufix code instead "E7A8 "??

DELL UNLOCK BIOS AFTER NEW BIOS
1st boot:
1. press <F2> to enter System Setup.
2. click Security menu, (deactivate Absolute Computrace).
3. click Service Tag Settings, (enter old or new Service Tag).
2st boot:
1. press <Alt><F> to turn off manufacturing mode.
