I quickly went through the guide, and in the dell section 3.4 it suggested to replace the 6FF1 suffix (which has a bug) with 1F5A or BF97 or E7A8 suffix.

So, I have tried the following:

JOSHNN2-1F5A
JOSHNN2-BF97
JOSHNN2-E7A8

but none of the code generated from bios-pw.org/ worked.
Am I doing something wrong?

Don`t know but i just noticed that its not a valid service tag JOSHNN2 .Is there a service tag on the base cover

You are right. The service tag wasn't correct it should have read J0SHNN2.
I have now managed to solve the issue.
