Must be typed in US keyboard layout ( your laptop keyboard is French AZERTY), so just use external US layout one, and the password is case-sensitive of course.

I doubt it doesn't work, but since you want to do it the hard way upload your bios dump here, and someone will do the unlock for you.

I'm using an international US keyboard

I was able to unlock a 5510 easily with the password generated by the website https://beta.bios-pw.org/, but I could get into the BIOS with this 5510.

But the Precision 5520 is different, when I turn it on it already appears the message below.

Dell Security Manager

This computer system, #4XLKZF2-E7A8, is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access the data on this computer without the correct password. Please type the system or administrator password.

Do you think it's the same BIOS password or is it something else?

Tried the keys below to no avail.

Yes, the master passwords are the same, you're just typing something wrong. Try again, it should work.

Is it possible to change the service tag? I bought a Precision 5520 which is tied to another corporation, and you can't log in to yours.

Usb keyboard plugged, tried in upper and lower case same issue.

Sorry, I forgot to specify that a qwerty keyboard is connected to the USB port.

No error: 0 = zero
and I've respected upper and lower case.
