Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 15imh05a device that I bought used online. It came with a 20V 8.5A 170W charger.
The BIOS version is EFCN58WW.
When I turn on the device, it displays the message:
"The Connected AC adapter has a lower wattage than the recommended AC adapter..."
The device rarely charges the battery, and even when it does, it doesn't show that it's charging.

I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.
The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.

This machine came in with a no power complaint after a liquid spill. The only damage I found was on the two USB-C boards, so I replaced those, and the machine charges and fires up. However, if the internal LCD is connected to the logic board, when it boots, I will get a critical update failed warning and the only options are to shut down or try again - it's a loop. I am able to start up fine in safe boot. If I disconnect the internal LCD, I am able to boot normally to the OS. The customer doesn't want to invest any more money beyond what I already charged.
