I mucked around with my bios a bit too much and now it doesn't power on, however still charges. I'm suspecting a fried motherboard and ordered a new motherboard just in case.

I extracted bios region from update and replaced it in your backup and performed a clean_ME with intel FIT. You are welcome.

I flashed a bios patched and only change mac, cause i read in a thread that just changing the mac had workdd, but didnt work for me. I want to know what else i need to do.

Hey all,

Having some trouble with patching my T480 bios so I can access the advanced menu. I dumped the bios and believed I patched it correctly, following a few guides. However when I reflash the laptop will let out a musical chime and not boot. I've tried a couple of times to fix the patched bios however I've hit a wall and have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Refreshing the original gets everything back to working order.
Some searching has led me to believe it's the bios version that was on the laptop that could be causing issues. It's running 1.53 I believe and I saw people with 1.52 saying they had issues but I'm at a complete loss as to what I should do next.
I've attached a copy of my working bios and a copy of the patched one. Any help would be massively appreciated and sorry for coming with what is probably a simple problem.
