I have two of these devices here. The first had been working without any issues and the second came with a dead touchpad. To figure out if there is a problem with the board or with the touchpad itself I cross swapped the keyboard/touchpad unit on both devices and none of the touchpads worked. Unfortunately, aber swapping back the keyboard/touchpad unit the touchpads on both devices failed (also tested with Ubuntu).
There are no fuses on the board and I could not see any damage under the microscope. I get the 3V_PTP on the U2507 (p28). How would you diagnosed this issue?... -

hello I'm new here and I'm new to technology apartment plus studies. I want to fix my laptop. Dead screen and doesn't respond to power button. I tried my best to turn it on then it opened it charged. The problem is the power button and the display. I want to find the bios chip so I can program it again with the idea of the power button and the display will work again. Plus when I turn on the motherboard the fan spins slow and if esc+fn keys pressed nothing corresponds. So I think the bios chip has some letters or binary codes changed. That's...
