Hello all, i am new to the forum and totally noob, someone could try to explain me how exactly identify the BIOS region for removing uefi password for my SP7 and how to identify and extract the correct region from surface update? Thanks in advance

Hello,

Thank you very much, there’s no longer a password in the BIOS!
However, I can’t manage to install Windows 11 — the computer suddenly shuts down at 45% of the installation. Obviously, when I turn it back on, it’s not operational, so I restart the installation and get exactly the same behavior. I tried installing Windows 10, but the setup doesn’t even start — there are just the little spinning dots indefinitely.
It’s a pity, I was almost there!
Thanks anyway, I was still able to make some progress 🙂
