I have a Surface Pro 4 that has UEFI Bios password. I am confused reading the posts. Can I get a dump of the bios via FPT or do I need to desolder the chip to get a dump file?Comment

Hello
Today i have more test to the Surface, and i noticed a couple issues.
First when I'm in the Uefi configuration, the touch doesn't work.
Secondly, in Windows the touch isn't quite responsive, and the right half of the screen doesn't work at all.
I don't know is bios issue or touch issue.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Hi guys! So i bought a used Surface Go 2 and it came with a password locked bios.I really wanna remove the lock because they disabled USB booting and disabled SD card which is really weird. I read the forums about the ME tools and fptw but i just cant find one that works for my version of ME. Thanks in advance!

Hey. Sometime ago i bought broken surface pro 4 supposedly it was dead. But turns out it was just a faulty charger. Although when it powered on and after all updates, touchscreen didn't work it also doesn't work in UEFI. On my original bios in device menager it shows yellow triangles on Surface ME and Surface Touch, hid-compliant touchscreen was missing. I already replaced touchscreen and touchscreen board, i've broken the orginal screen when trying to open surface. I already tried diffrent bios files from internet. With the latest one i was able to install the drivers for Surface ME and Surface... -
