The backup using utility seems to be incomplete, while using "Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit" utility, on the right side there is a check box in Custom option, check it and select the biggest value in the drop down menu, which is 16384K, then perform the backup and save the file. -

read chipset once again and compare the result with last one, if they are identical erase chipset and write this file into it. I can't decrypt your password so I removed password from dump but I guess your dumps are not ok.Attached FilesLeave a comment:

by bmxlovahHi,
My Dell Precision T7910 died after enabling onboard SAS controller and applying RAID settings. There were no hardware changes between working and not working state, only setup (via bios -> controller settings). After applying settings and reboot PC turns on, flash leds (normally) but there's no further action, it just stays on with no graphics and no keyboard led's on. There's no Dell logo, nothing. I've tried resetting bios by jumper, replacing cpu's, replacing ram, removed/replaced cmos battery, disconnecting all drives etc. I've also dumped .bins from mobo chips SLI1 (16...-

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

by cozilyI bought a DELL Precision 3660 Tower Workstation from a second-hand seller. After bringing it home, I found out it was actually a testing unit. The BIOS cannot be upgraded (only the ME and PD2 sections are upgradable), and there are test messages displayed during boot, which really affects the user experience.
Upon inspecting the motherboard, I noticed that the BIOS is composed of two chips: one 8-pin 16MB chip and one 16-pin 32MB chip.
I acquired two new chips from another source containing the official BIOS version, but after installing them, I found that none of the...-
