Sorry for another comment, does UC5 need to be removed from the board to be read? spotted there are holes in 4 traces that connect to the 2nd bios, is this maybe the reason software cant detect it? reading other section of bios also?

In short - dump of the UC5 chip is needed for the unlock, content of the UC6 does not need to be modified in any way, so don't play with it. Reading the chip in circuit (especially with the clamp) is always a bad idea - unsolder the chip and don't use a clip. Make at least 3 dumps and compare them to be sure you have a good backup (to avoid a big headache later).
Besides using a SOIC-8 clip to read a WSON-8 chip is (almost) impossible.

Thanks very much for the tips.
I have now managed to dump UC5, I have attached WSON version and a non WSON version as the programmer software detected multiple, I wasn't sure which too choose so did both.

If possible, could I get the correct one done please? Thanks very much again.

I downloaded this file for someone else which was a few pages back who was in same situation as me. I have changed the ME region to my extracted one and rebuilt it, am I good to go? if so sweet, if not i'll wait on a patched one

No, you are not. It doesn't work this way.

At first boot enter the bios and input the Service Tag at the corresponding field, disable Absolute Computrace, save & restart. At the second boot, press Alt+F do exit MPM.

It mean exactly what's written - at first boot press F2 to enter the bios, go to the Service tag tab and input it in the empty field for it. Find your Service tag printed at the label on the laptop back cover.

When flashing a BIOS always make a backup first. Take 2 or 3 different dumps and make sure they are identical.
On Windows, you can use the command "fc /b" to check if two dumps are identical.
Make sure that the dumps looks good, i.e. not filled with 0x00 or 0xFF. After compression, if the file has a size of only a few kilobytes, the EEPROM was most likely not read properly.
