Hello everyone, i found bios empty of dell latitude 5330 so i download many of bios from forum but no one works , power on and no display after 2min power off , like it not found the RAM memory , when i verified the list of RAM in the downloaded bios i didn't find mine in the list. I've been trying to reset the bios password on this god-forsaken laptop, and due to it being a 8FC8, i've had little to no success with online password generators like https://bios-pw.org , not to mention how I don't want to burn a hole in my wallet by paying like 80 bucks on a weird sketchy website. Im using a local bios tool, except it requires a BIOS file, and I'm not entirely sure how to retrieve it.
Forgot to mention the motherboard is a Dell Inc. 004WC7, VER. A01 -
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -
Hello guys ,i have a dell latitude 5590 with f411p bios,this laptop has bios password ,i tried to read the bios(winbond 25q128jv) with ch341 but when goes to verify give error ,it said doesnt match .After this i flashed another bios which is cleaned and then the laptop was dead ,i tried to turn on but only white light in the buton power turned on several times and then no display at all .I had a backup and flashed again the original bios ,but this time the laptop will not turn on at all ,no light nothing,the bios original bios that i flashed was having verify error when i verified with ch341 ,i... -

This is an unreleased internal firmware revision recovered from a university loaner Latitude E6530... and it possibly bricked the system it came from.
It is from the 8 MB Winbond W25Q64 chip. Could be nothing burger but given the anomalies this is a very interesting firmware dump.
Firmware collectors and reverse engineers might find this useful, It contains certs, modules, and DXE drivers not present in A17. This is likely... -
