If I find the same laptop identical with board rev etc and read the backup from that laptop and write to the locked one, should the locked one be unlocked or not? Can smb tell me this?

The 16 MB chip desoldered and read directly through WSON board and on the RT809H.
The 512 KB chip read directly on the chromebook board without desolderingComment

it shows enterprise mode , i tried to boot it in developer mod so i can easily clean it , no way ....

Use rcunlocker on the larger file. Then follow instructions. If still locked, reinstall operating system.Comment

Chromebooks are really very different and very difficult to unlock.
No chance with these free tools that are available to do anything.

On your 16M flash dump look for "blockdevmode" and "checkenrollment", next to them should read "013001" instead of "013101" hexadecimal, and you are ready to go!

For unenrolling chromebooks, use this. After patching, log in and powerwash if you can. If not, go to devmode and then back to normal mode and then log in and powerwash. If it doesn't work then just use a premade USB stick to restore OS.

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅... -

BIOS Corruption - Cause
So I managed to corrupt my machine by installing linux and enrolling custom secure boot keys. I did choose to enroll the Microsoft keys as well, to prevent any potential bricking due to 3rd party drivers from HP being signed with those keys.
After doing that, and rebooting(it did boot, powerLED, fanspin etc.), the laptop did not give any video output on the LCD or video connectors. I think I was able to get in BIOS and trigger the beeper by pressing ESC.... -

I bought a new Winbond 25Q128FVSG chip.
The chip currently on the board is the same model but with different ending letters.
I can’t use the CH341 clip on the chip that’s on the board because it’s too low-profile and doesn’t make proper contact.
The Chromebook is Google account locked, and I’ve already tried everything.
