    Latitude 7200 2 in 1

I need to figure out how to unlock the bios on a latitude 7200 2 in 1. It won't boot up from the internal hard drive for some reason and I can't allow it to boot from usb with the bios locked down. I'm looking for either the master password or some help locating what the bios chip and a dump of a good one because the only thing I see on this motherboard are way too small to be bios chips.

None of them is your main bios. Winbond 080 could be ec bios. main bios should be either 8mb or 16mb-not sure which is correct on this platform. So look for bios chip with 64 or 128 letters on it. Eg:W25Q64FV

I'm thinking it may be on the other side of the motherboard, which requires a whole lot more work to remove

This motherboard has 2 similar chips. One is on the front marked with BIOS SKT "Winbond 25Q256JVEN" and one on the back marked with U351 "Gigadevice 25B256EYIG". I ignored the one on the back and only desoldered front chip. Made a backup, made sure the reading was the same with another 3 backups.

Dell Latitude 5431 issues with dumping bios
          by Sathsul
So, i kinda spend significant ammount of the last couple of days trying to flash a new bios, and or unlocking the current bios password with little to no results.
The whole thing started with it being the 8fc8 bios, i found the tools to unlock that but i needed a bios dump. So i pursued that, im at a point where i dessoudered the chip, and succesfully soudered it to the ch341, dumped whatever was on it.
However, the tools supposed to unlock the 8fc8 say that there is no 8fc8 hex inside. And when i followed diffrent tutorials to just flash a new bios onto the chip i got stuck on the...

Dell Latitude E7270 - Requesting BIOS clean/corrupt? service tag CB00KC2
          by TripTop
          Hi

i have dell latitude E7270 with following symptoms:
          - takes long time to restart.
          - sometimes powers on and then off
          - sometimes while working it just dies,

From googling online bios clean could possible resolve this?

i was able to save bios and was going to try bios clean myself but get an below error when i drop it in ME analyzer.(unsure whether this sometimes occurs or could be due to bad/corrupt bios)

As ME analyzer gave me an error i just decided to write bios with a cleaned bios from E7270 bios post.
          I reinstall...

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

          by gizaha
          Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
          (from here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals...e7a&lang=en-us)

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

Since ssd is replaced and had clean install windows, i've...
