Hi, working on this Apple MacBook Air 820-00165-A (1.8 GHz Core i5-5350U EMC 3178) not booting to OS. There was no liquid spill, checked under the microscope, no signs of spillage. Only not booting to OS, hangs on the Apple logo., bar moves till the end but does not do a complete boot. I re-flushed the EEPROM, with the correct serial # injected & verified the checksum. All fine, after writing to a new EEPROM still the same, hangs on Apple logo. I am uploading the original bins file. Please someone have a look & kindly do a ME Region cleanup again if I have not done correctly. Thanks

Yes Sir, all works fine & Boots like charm. Can you inform me how did you build up a clean ME region because my method clearly did not work?? or is there any Video tutorial on Youtube so that I can understand this well (& you have 2 things added to my Bin file -- ME 10.0.35.1012 - 10.0.35.1012_SLM_PRD). Thank you for all the help.Last edited by mferna14; 12-04-2019, 08:09 PM.Comment

Hi guys i have my personal MacBook Pro 2015 820-00165 board that was working fine for more than a year and one day stopped working on my original Magsafe charger. It was turning on with my bench power supply. Opened it up and while diagnosing that somehow i ended up with a shorted smc.The line which was shorted was SMC_PM_G2_EN. I removed the SMC and short was gone. So all I had was another working donor board 820-3435 which i used to program it's SMC to 820-00165 using the SMCTOOL By MuertoGB.Took that SMC and use it on my 820-00165 board .And my board started working again. by samstownHello,
This special tool from Apple is used to recover data from Macbook A1706. I've been using it for a while but it stops working. When connecting Thunderbolt 3 between the tool and working Macbook, Macbook should prompt "new device detected, allow or not"... but it doesn't.
Has anyone ever experience this ? It's not a cabling or power supply issue, some IC have stopped working but not sure which one. Probably the one that manager thunderbolt 3
Thanks

by psdavid65I received a 2013 Macbook Air A1466 820-3437-B motherboard with serial number C02L6GQ9FSV8 that came in WITHOUT a bios chip. I got a new bios chip and reprogrammed it. Macbook now powers on but doesn't boot the SSD. I've flashed a ton of bios but still same problem. Windows installation works with this Macbook but never a mac installation. Unfortunately, since I didn't receive this macbook with a bios chip, I don't have the original bios. What can I do now?...

by arahbanHello Gentlemen,
I am working on an apple MacBook A2442 board pn 820-02098-A with a visible short on the PMIC U7700 MVK-PLUS as per the schematics
I have a donner board from apple macbook pro m1 A2338 PN 820-02020 and I saw that the PMIC U8100 TMLT46B0-JPE could be a possible replacement for the U7700
Can you please help me confirm if the U7700 can be replaced with U8100 ?
APL1098 is it the same as APL1096
Thank you very much in advanced

by a_p3rsonHi there,
I'm looking for anyone who might have information on Apple's embedded Apple Watch charging daughterboard, ID 820-02601. This is currently used by Anker in their Apple Watch charging products, but likely by other Apple partner brands as well.
You can see the board referenced in ChargerLab's teardown of the Anker Y1811 3-in-1 MagSafe cube - they discuss the "Apple Watch wireless charging circuit" about 2/3rds down the page. It's not pictured, but the board ID reads 820-02601-A, which sure sounds like Apple.
This daughterboard uses an interesting...-
