use USB QWERTY (US) keyboard.

that was not the problem. I had to type the 3 codes again and used the new hash. With it i could resolve my bios password.

definitely, i was able to find this myself but only yesterday (and it wasn't that straightforward). I guess it would be much easier to just use web tool/local , than posting here

After resetting the password, you need to enter the bios and put your password, using the generated password, then reboot the laptop and in the bios to turn off passwords
