The bios at the first link is the right one,its an official bios not a dump. You`ve got a false sense of the wrong bios working because you`ve got further with it. Flash the 4QCN45WW(V2.09) bios back, and the EC if you have a programmer.Do further testing only with the right bios or you lead yourself down a rabbit hole.Comment

I tried to change the EC chip because it was shorted after that I tried to power the board its only taking 8milliamp. Is it because I didnt programm it?Comment

My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.- I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
- I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
- I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

Hi everyone, hope everyone's having a great day.
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 for repair. (20LES3T900)
I looked in every corner and the laptop seems fine. Its pulling 500mA but no display, no noise, nothing.
So I assume its a BIOS issue. I downloaded the BIOS with CH341A and opened it on ME Analyser and didn't receive any errors.
Does this mean the BIOS is fine? making it a hardware issue?
I downloaded fresh BIIOS from the Lenovo site and used Hex Editor replace the Lenovo's BIOS into my BIOS region. But the file size ended up being... -
