padgurc Please backup the BIOS chip from the new board, and if possible, also backup the BIOS chip from the old board and attach both here

If you have "Manufacture Programming mode is in Unlock mode" message at boot up you can use BCU, otherwise if you set Manufacturing Programming Mode to *Lock you can't change anything in BCU anymore unless you flash a clean BIOS
Best to copy DMI area from dead board to new board, if both boards are the same model (same CPU generation, same board number)

You need a SPI flash programmer, cheapest option is the CH341A
