make more copies of the bios, check them with the HxD program and when you have more of the same, post again..

Sorry, I don't understand. Can you explane me for the next time?

Now I've tried with 08328 from hoaca388 (that I think is the officil from HP update file) and the notebook goes on but it is in "manifacturer programming mode unlock", how can I fix it?

at post # 135 you have the interval where the DMI information is found...use the HxD program (you can find it for free)..enter both bios into it and copy that interval where the DMI information is found from the original bios,
to the virgin bios on the website...(copy-paste)..

                                Good evening everyone
I find myself in a dead end, my laptop following a bad bios flash from the HP utility, gave me a black screen, but the fan was turning, so I unsoldered the bios chip, and made a backup, I recovered a bios in version 08328, and integrated the DMI via hxd, then reflashed via ezp2023+, I resoldered the chip, did some tests, still no screen, and the shift key flashes 5 long and 3 short, I followed via the schematic the voltages 19v 3.3v 5v and the others it seems to be not bad, do you have any leads to explore, knowing that I do not have the complete schematic of this card but the documents that can be found on the net here and there, but hey I think enough, I give you the information of the pc and the backup of the corrupted original bios, and the one I modified with integration of my Dmi
                                Thanks to all

                                  Hey,
I have an HP 250 G6 with board DKL50 CSL52 LA E821P and SN CND8065P5W with a corrupt BIOS. I already read the BID of the old BIOS and know that I need the bios 0832E.
Now I want to copy the DMI information to the new BIOS I downloaded from the HP website.

But I don't know exactly the range which I should copy.
So Start is 210000, that is clear.
But in the thread there are different end sectors.
I guess 210FFF (length 1000) is ONLY DMI.
But what about with windows key? is it
                                  21103F (length 1040) OR
                                  211FFF (length 2000)

Also I'm not even sure if there was a windows key initially on the mainboard. So does it matter just copy the sector or is it not good if I do this and there was no win key?

Thank you very much in advance!!
                                  Johannes

Also I'm not even sure if there was a windows key initially on the mainboard. So does it matter just copy the sector or is it not good if I do this and there was no win key?

Thank you very much in advance!!

Ok, found sn number at 003AA00. How long is it? Till the "$END" in the text?

And the code for windows key isn't found in the bin file. So I assume that there was no key saved?
