Have you tried to reset cmos? Have you tried to enter bios setup manually? At least you can try to reprogram rom. Normally at first boot it opens bios in the service tag screen.... -
Thank you so much, I've flashed the "CombineBiosName2 - OptiPlex 5080-China HDD Protection" using a sop16 dip8 adaptor instead of the sop16 dip16 and it starts. Afeter first boot I've typed the service tag in the appropriate section (showed automaticaly on boot) than restarted the system that booted in manifacture programming mode, pressing alt+F (how indicated on boot) it show a menù I had to choose between:
OptiPlex 5080
OptiPlex 5080-China HDD Protection
I selected the "OptiPlex 5080"
Than it started normaly and finally I've updated at last version....Leave a comment:

Please can you help me? I've flashed the
bin "2 CombineBiosName1 v99.1.45.rar" on winbond W25Q256JV@SOIC16 but the PC doesn't start, no fan, no led nothing. Must I try to flash the other or this is a dual bios and I must flash also the other? I have not seen another eprom to flash, I've desoldered the W25Q256JV and then programmed it with TL866II Plus and all went ok[B], [/B]I've checked the soldering and is ok.
