The bios file is located in the bios chip on the main board, not in the HDD or SSD. You must have a device to dump it.

Hello everyone, I have a lenovo V310-IKB, after updating the bios, I had the same problem mentioned here, black screen and nothing else. Before flashing the bios, disconnect the CR2023 battery and the main battery of the laptop, press the power button for 1 minute, then connect the charger and it came back to life, I did not have to flash the bios, I hope this procedure will help you .

The 4 matic bios just worked for me after new bios update bricked my motherboard but my boot drive is locked and it wants me to unlock it with password i cant enter in bios because the prompt pops up any suggestions as to what to do at this point ?

Okay i think i fixed everthing this is how it went for me from start to end- updated to latest bios from lenovo website my computer got bricked tried everthing but to no avail then bought a ch341a programmer and clips as a last option it cost 157 try 10.68 dollars at this time followed online tutorials as to how to use it and downloaded the software from some guys youtube video and tried the 4matic bios it worked in the first try then when i went to boot up the computer my ssd aka my windows drive was locked so i could not enter windows or bios, removed my ssd and was succesfuly able to enter bios then installed windows on the hdd that came with this laptop via usb and and unlocked my ssd using setudil with psid and following a tutorial now i am installing a fresh copy of windows on it rn this whole procces took me 3 days and it was tedious i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Still it was sorta fun learning curve �� my laptop is 80t3 model intel7200u. cpu thank you everyone in this forum for sharing information thank you from the bottom of my heart. ♥️

Hello, can you help me fix the bios? After the bios flashes and the ntb restart is done, the fan still runs without any LEDs. I have a bios chip AH1644 25B128CSIG on board DA0LV6MB6F0.

Hi all

I have some trouble with a V310-15IKB 80T3.
After update BIOS from official support the system doesn't reboot automatically. It is a known problem (maybe) so removed battery, CMOS battery, plug everything back, and it worked, BUT
I have 2 warning message when enter BIOS - oilsetup status device error
I cant change some values in BIOS and AMD dedicated GPU just disappeared from system.
I have a BIOS.cap backup file. Can I use that file to restore the system to the original state?

Can somebody help me, how to fix this issue?

use the bios from pos # 45, if it doesn't work, post the original bios of the laptop as corrupt as it is ..

above I sent you the interval where the DMI information is located .. use the HxD program .. enter both bios into it (the one that works and the original of the laptop) and copy that interval from the one of the laptop to the one that works. that's how you pass Y/N and the other data from one bios to another.. after which you write back the bios chip..
