Intel Deskopt Board DH77EB Fail After Updating BIOS

Hi. I'm new user off community.

After executing the *.exe in Windows to update the BIOS, it turned off, tried to turn on and off again. Never give video

I have a CH341A programmer and i need to extract the BIN or ROM from the .Exe (or .BIO). The memory SPI is 25L6406E (64Mbit)

¿Could someone help me extract it?......or somewhere way de repair it.

My english is bad, i'm Argentinian. Patience please.

Have you followed "Instructions for Recovery BIOS Updates" inside "Leame (PDF)" from your link?

      Yes.

Mother never shows nothing. Only blink a led and run fan, after it shut down and go back make to same.

      ¿Any idea?

        My thought process:

EB0103.BIO size of 10,059,808 is not multiple of 1,048,576 (one megabyte)

UEFITool says EB0103.BIO has 32 byte header

Remove first 32 bytes from EB0103.BIO makes size 10,059,776 bytes = ten megabytes

Can use XVI32_Hex_Editor to do this, or use UEFITool Action->Capsule->Extract Body - both make same result

But you've said memory SPI size is eight megabytes

So I guess you would have to try removing another two megabytes

Which two megabytes? - I do not know, and UEFITool is no more help

Hi pfrcom and SMDFLea. Thanks for you replies.

During these days I studied the subject without success. The motherboard is still dead.

Can the damaged original bios be repaired?

I attached the damaged original bios. It's exactly 8MB. Read with CH341A. (V1.30)

I will continue studying the subject and I will comment as soon as possible.

No it isn't - 10,059,776 bytes = 9.59375 megabytes - trapped by using Excel with decimal places set to zero

              No it isn't - from bios-niki-25l6406e.rar I extracted 8,388,672 bios-niki-25l6406e.bin which is 64 bytes greater than 8 megabytes (= 8,388,608 bytes)

KRID not found in original EB0103.BIO, either case-sensitive or case-insensitive

                  Thanks alot for everythings.

The dump makes to power on, velocidad fan normal and the button power on/off works. Never shows video on screen.

BACHIR2004: ¿can you change the dump again?

                            by DynaxSC
Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).

I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Tried with a similar board, but there are too much differences, and the stock BIOS is missing a lot of...

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                            Assuming...

Unable to extract bios file from Lenovo bios exectuable
                            by survivalbloke
I'm trying to extract a flashable bios file(ch341a) from the lenovo bios executable download. I have tried the instructions from this site https://starkeblog.com/lenovo/uefi/2...pdate-exe.html, which are not working. According to those instructions, after issuing the command
                            Code:
                            "innoextract 7wcn38ww.exe"
it should create an \app folder, inside which, I should find a newly created "7wcn38ww.exe" file. I should then be able to extract that using 7zip and find my .FD file.

The trouble I'm having is that I'm not getting the newly...

With original bios no POST, only LED lights

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
