hi again i just replaced a faulty hw mobo and want to transfer serial, uuid, what else (mac ??) to new item already in place..
are there tools available or just handmade bios code editing by hex editor can u write me a short tutorial? maybe per PM ??
im confident with coding, hex, win-linux, (+) scrpiting, flashing spi programmer etc.. but not professional with hp bios files..
of course i can simply copy old bios on new HW but thing is bios ver of old is 1.41 and new one is step back o 1.04 and want to keep older bios cause of removal of throttlestop and voltage manipulation per hp vendor bios updateComment

Finally I was able to fix the issue using the bios file provided by subroto and fixed the boot issue using the guidance SMDFlea given.

HP PRO-BOOK 440 G4 corrupt bios
hp pro book 440 g4
powers on no display
then goes off and it restarts again no display then goes off.
i tried the dump uploaded here at badcaps it works but takes 15 secs to boot
some one to help me with this attachment and clear it of errorsComment

Hi can you hep me fix this bios, 2 long beeps and 2 short beeps which means bios corruption, i tried the bios posted here and it works but having problems writing new serial using wdnmifit it show an error "mpm is not unlocked. will not be able to set bios settings " thats why i want to use the original bios with details like serial sku etc.. thanks in advanceComment

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
