hi again i just replaced a faulty hw mobo and want to transfer serial, uuid, what else (mac ??) to new item already in place..
are there tools available or just handmade bios code editing by hex editor can u write me a short tutorial? maybe per PM ??
im confident with coding, hex, win-linux, (+) scrpiting, flashing spi programmer etc.. but not professional with hp bios files..
of course i can simply copy old bios on new HW but thing is bios ver of old is 1.41 and new one is step back o 1.04 and want to keep older bios cause of...

i see, just removed the nearest transistor where the short happened, cuz it was shorted by the backlit keyboard assembly...
btw can u have a look on this file is my current bios, if its in a good condition.. + f.ex. im interested in removing the ME part or at least deactivating it as i read its ver 11 and must be present for cpu and OS to load !!??

hp probook 430 G4 liquid metal damage
hi just a few days ago i had a VERY similar thing happening which led me to this forum, ie this post!
it all began with me applying liquid metal to my probook 430 g4 7200u AND buyin a backlit keyboard on ebay.
after few hours everthing went well. plus then i ordered myself a new hdd door, some 16gb ram, etc.. a new FAN, the old was too loud, etc..
so i ended screwing on my laptop few more hours opening and closing.. in this procedere TWO things happened:
