You will need a multimeter as members will ask you to take voltage readings and take the laptop apart. If you don`t have the tools or are not comfortable doing that take it to a repair shop.

Thanks for help, I have already mentioned above posts laptop did not boot with both bin files and both files were identical when compared with hex editor so it proves there is no bios chip issue and neither there is issue with memory RAM as already cleaned it with eraser tool , i think there is some issue with motherboard components like capacitors or Mosfets. anyways thanks for your help guys much appreciated.

secondaly for info in bios bin file

DMI region found from offset 00222000-002220F0

i have updated both info in virgin file 08217 although these is something wrong with motherboard as no display even with virgin bios

Please correct me and share some thoughts thanks
write the bios chip only with the update sent ... in this case you should have inagine and the laptop to request your DMI information..bios better than the virgin one you will not find..if no image appears you have another problem .

Write the 08217 ,read it back, compare what you read back with the 08217. Both should be exactly the same. If they are the same and still no boot then it is no longer a bios issue and the problem is somewhere else

Hi sorry for being so dumb but compare which file

you mean virgin bios with old corrupted bios or the bios file which i will write using neo and opening same file in hex editor to confirm.

NeoProgrammer has a search function, just type in GD25B .If the virgin bios is written correctly you should have something on the display.Erase the chip first, then write, then read back again and compare with HxD ,if there are any differences the bios chip is bad. If it has written correctly then i can only assume that the EC may be corrupt, as it was working ok before the bios update ?

Adding above if i have flashed bios chip with any of the bios file 08217 virgin one for example it should show display at least asking for product ID etc at display , in my case after flashing bios it has no display at power on and still same capslock 5.3 issue.

correct me if i am wrong , are you saying if i use neo programmer with virgin or old bios it will flash it correctly as it accepts gigadevice GD25B64CS1G chip

    Hi thanks for help

Here is what happend , i flashed bios file which you provided 08217F48 to chip
using Ch341a programmer and it identified chip giga device but showed 2 chips in selection
    1- GD25B64
    2-GD25B64C

i flashed both one by one with this file , first i read file and it did read it successfully showed me bid number 08217.

One more thing in IC list of the programmer there is no IC list for gigadevice
    GD25B64CS1G, list starts with Gd25Q

HP OMEN 17-an012nf BIOS dump with EC (DAG3BAMBAF0 REV : F)
    by MDSI
    Hello,

I'm requesting a full BIOS dump (including EC firmware) for an HP OMEN 17-an012nf laptop.

    Details:
    Model : HP OMEN 17-an012nf
    Motherboard Part Number : DAG3BAMBAF0 REV : F
    Serial Number (S/N) : 5CD7280D51
    BIOS chip : Winbond W25Q64VSIQ
    Programmer : EZP2023+
Issue : The motherboard is not powering on. Only the 5V rail is present. The 3.3V rail is missing because EN1 on the SY8286B remains stuck at 0V. This signal is driven directly by the EC/SIO. I replaced the 3.3V regulator and confirmed it's working.

    I already...

Request HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 (J06) BIOS dump to restore system firmware
    by Ahari
    Hi all,

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.

I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

    I...

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
    by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

    Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.
