Re: Need bios bin file for Lenovo V110-15IAP
Is there anything I can do about it now, or is the board fried?
The laptop is completely unresponsive and dead, and the programmers barely read the bios anymore. Reading works sometimes, but the results look like a jumbled mess to me, and every other action (like ERASE, VERIFY, EMPTY ...) don't work.
Also most of the time when connecting the clip, the PC gives "USB Not Recognized The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it" error.
The programmer connection itself doesn't give that error, neither connecting the programmer with a bios from a different laptop...Leave a comment:

Re: Need bios bin file for Lenovo V110-15IAP
Well fuck. I think I just shorted something on the mainboard
I tested the laptop after the previous flashing, and it didn't work so I wanted to reflash it using AsProgrammer, but like a fucking genius I forgot to unplug the battery this time before connecting the programmer to usb, and now it's unresponsive, not event those 2 led lights blink anymore, and AsProgrammer or CH341A don't detect the bios properly anymore

 :facepalm
Is there anything else left to do now?Leave a comment:

Re: Need bios bin file for Lenovo V110-15IAP
Try AsProgrammer software, its a good alternative.Choose CH341A in the hardware tab first, then choose the bios chip manually from the list.

Re: Need bios bin file for Lenovo V110-15IAP
Thanks, but it gives the same error "file length beyond range will be ignored". In fact, it gives the same message even if I try to flash the backup bios. Am I missing something? I used ERASE>BLANK>WRITE>VERIFY in CH341A Programmer, and everything seemed ok, beside the error message when opening the bios files.
Anyway, I ignored the message and wrote the bios anyway, but nothing changed. The laptop is still dead. Only LED4 and LED2 are blinking intermittently.
Maybe an older version of bios would work?

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem
Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
Initial Findings:- My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
 - I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
 - I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.

- I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
 - I concluded that the

			by WahazHello,
I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....-

			by grimacelordHello there.
I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.
History:
1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.
I searched for this error online and discovered...-

by to5it0Need Clean BIOS/EC Bin File for Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e - Stuck with 0275 Error CMS
Hello everyone,
I am attempting a repair on a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 11e that is currently stuck at boot with the error: "0275 error CMS" even after setup new bios battery and will not allow me to enter the BIOS/Setup.
This is a critical issue that I believe requires flashing the BIOS chip directly using a programmer (e.g., CH341A/RT809H), as standard software updates or resets are not possible.
I have opened the laptop and identified the main BIOS chip...2 Photos-

			by mkdjDear all,
I have recently fixed a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 ALC6 that was not booting due to a BIOS issue. After flashing the BIOS, the laptop boots up, but hard disk is not recognized in BIOS. Is says "Hard Disk : Not Installed". I have tried with 2 different drives (one that I know is working on another laptop) but I get the same result. I do not know if disks were recognized before I got the laptop and fix it, but I don't see any reason why not. I can boot on USB though.
Here the steps I have taken to fix the laptop:
- downloaded latest BIOS from Lenovo Website... - Loading...
 - No more items.
