Hello, I am new in this branch of BIOS programming. I have problem with BIOS (probably ME region) on Lenovo Y500, type 9541, LA-8692P. After unsuccessfull BIOS flash using InsydeFlash, the laptop wouldn´t turn on, only fan goes, screen was black. I try to flash BIOS using EZP2023+. I used the BIOS from this post - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...ht=lenovo+y500
After flash, sometimes the laptop turn on and boot Windows, sometimes the fan spins but the screen is black. When I boot Windows, I try to update BIOS with InsydeFlash, but error occurs - BIOS version compare error.
I think I need clean ME region, but I do not know how. Please, can me help someone?

Yes, thanks. I successfully run the MEA yesterday, but I still can´t edit the BIOS and I do not know how to change DMI information (yes, I know it exists guide on this forum, but I think is too complicating for me). Please, can you edit the BIOS for me?Comment

Hi, thanks. The BIOS works, but not correctly. I have still problem with power up. Sometimes the laptop boots, sometimes no, especially after shutdown and immediatly turn on.
Also when I would like to update BIOS with original utility from Lenovo support - InsydeFlash, the app goes to error - BIOS compare version error. What can I do yet? Can you help me please? Do you have some tips what can be wrong?

So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.
I found a method to recover the BIOS of many lenovo laptops tha consists in pluging in a USB Flash with the BIOS files and power on the laptop with Fn + R keys pressed until fans go loud and start beeping loud, but nothing worked, so i think filename is wrong, i tried naming the bios file as 07WW.BIN, BIOS.BIN, BIOS.fd,...10-11-2024, 03:12 PM -

Hello all,
I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P500 that is stuck at post with no display, it happened after I changed the memory timings in bios. I can not clear CMOS using the jumper on the motherboard, also tried re-flashing bios suing a USB stick but it also doesn't work. The only solution that I can think of right now is re-flashing the bios chip using an external programmer but the problem is that I don't have the bios dump of p500 for flashing externally and I don't know the location of bios chip. If someone can provide the bios dump and bios chip location it would be really helpful.... -

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.
