Cleaning the ME firmware should solve it, have you tried doing that before ? .There are some guides https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...22#post1622422 and many youtube videos on the suject. It is something all laptop technicians should try to understand.

Hi guys, i reached this specific thread because i am struggling with a t460s that came untouched, but dead. Blinks 3 times, as if powered but no start at all. tried a dump from site, all started but, of course, delayed image and unaccepted WWAN device... made a Clear ME for it but now, the awesome error... "storage detection error on m2".... what should i do? i attach my original dump if anyone can help me on this, i would appreciate!

lenovo t460s
i had a supervisor password, i read and saved the winbond w25q128fv with the elnec programmer as w25q128bv because it was the only one on the list.
I tried with various files from this site but none works all the time black screen only for a moment when connecting the power supply the led on the button will blink (no beep).
I uploaded back my original file and same thing. I'm doing a write verification and it's ok.
Does anybody have an idea???
Misread file or something else?

@hopkok : I rebuilt the bios again, combining the original bios and the bios extracted from the exe file downloaded from lenovo homepage. You have LAN problems possibly caused by a corrupted GBE region.
