Hi, I flashed bios with the dump x55vd from internet, pc boot, but fan is always on maximum. can some one give me a correct dump or fix this dump.

No I didn`t backup the old bios. I find this bios working nice, fan is normal and everything is ok. thanks for help.Comment

Bios works. I had the same problem with x55vd. The fan was running at maximum. With X55CF1 Works normally. Thanks!!Comment

I’m troubleshooting an ASUS ROG Strix B660-I Gaming WiFi motherboard and I’m a bit stuck at the BIOS level. What I’ve tried so far- Attempted to flash the BIOS using the USB BIOS FlashBack (Q-Flash) port with a properly formatted FAT32 USB drive.
- BIOS file downloaded directly from the official ASUS support page.
- Followed the exact FlashBack procedure (correct port, renamed file, standby power only).
Issue:

I'm trying to recover a ASUS Zenbook Pro 15 Flip OLED (model UP6502ZA, serial R1N0CV06A262028, motherboard 60NB0W20-MB1030) which stopped booting after a Windows 11 update. The laptop powers on but there's no display and no POST.
I have a CH341A v1.612 programmer with a WSON 6x5mm pogo adapter. I managed to get two identical consecutive reads, so I believe my corrupted dump is "reliable".

Hello everyone, I need help repairing the BIOS of my ASUS X1500EA-BR3993W laptop.
Symptoms:
LED flashes for ~30 seconds then battery LED turns solid red
Fan spins briefly then stops
No POST, no display output
Ctrl+Home recovery does not work
Hardware info:
Model: ASUS X1500EA-BR3993W

I can get into bios now! I reflashed as instructed elsewhere. With a minimal POST (just 1 stick of ram , GPU, CPU, no drives) I have loaded into BIOS. I am about to reinstall my other hardware components now.
The clips are such a pain to use, soldering would be a great skill to have.
