With your bios the machine does not power on.i put the old one and the machine power on with still bios passwordComment

just to make sure this is vaio core2duo notebook? ddr2 ram?
so you can try my trick?
1. prepare 1 sodim ddr2,
2. focus at ram eeprom controller it must be 8pin...get scl pin and sda pin...
3. make a good soldered cable its about 15-20 cm, from that pins (sda & scl )
4. now you insert that sodim, with ac plug, no battery..switch on your notebook with old bios , press f2 it will be ask for the password
5. now you short that 2 cable sda and scl,
6. when you keep short that cables, ENTER blank Password
you will be in bios menu now...
7. After You get to bios menu release the sda and scl cable.
8. Find the security Menu, where you get change password menu , it will be ask current password ..short again sda & scl cable...now you can enter new password,
8.when you will enter new password and verify new password release cable again
9. now you can save your bios...

Hi. I can't upgrade to win11 I think it's because my BIOS is without Secure Boot function. The BIOS version is R0180Z9. Can you please advise if it is possible to upgrade BIOS to UEFI for this laptop. Many thanks.... -

Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored.
