    ASUS N53SV Won't Boot

    Hi!

    After bios write (desoldered chip) the mobo working again, but not boot. The BIOS came on every time. Some cmos settings not remebered like uefi, ahci, except date and time. DVD/HDD visible.

    I think the problem is uefi / dmi related, any idea how can be fixed?

      Make a win-8 64-bits bootable usb with Rufus program, and try to boot with it.

      (select GPT disk type, in Rufus window)

          That happened to me as well the system is looking for uefi boot device

              No luck

              usb visible, i can create a new boot option, but after exit from bios no boot, bios come back and the new boot option not remembered.

              Flashing factory bios from bios menu fail. After that, no picture, i need desolder the chip, and write again.

                          Laptop is a GL731GT with the I7-9750h and GTX1650.

                          Full model number is gl731gt-rb71-cb
                          Serial: (placeholder for when I get home)
                          Board model: G531GT REV. 1.5

                          Issue: Laptop was password protected with admin password. I extracted the Bios with the CH341A and ASprogrammer. I Initially saved the backup. I then scoured the internet for a rom to flash to the chip. I found a file and flashed it. I then read it back to verify and mistakenly over wrote my backup of the original Bios.

                          Hey guys, I have an "ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NF (2021)" that's locked with a UEFI password, I need to reprogram the BIOS chip but can't find a clean ".bin" file for this specific model, I've tried the official BIOS updates from ASUS support page, but they're 32MB updaters that don't extract to a usable 2MB .bin file for direct chip programming.

                          What I currently have available:
                          - Model: FA506NF (2021)
                          - BIOS chip: GD25LQ16 (16Mbit/2MB)
                          - Tools: CH341A programmer ready to use

                          Does anyone have either a clean 2MB .bin dump of this model,...

                          Asus X450LC REV 2.2 can't boot to anything

                          I get this Asus X450LC REV 2.2 can't boot from SATA, ODD or USB flash drive.

                          Power on normally. Boot to bios ok.
                          But I can't normal boot from HDD (windows 7) just freeze on the animation. I can't boot from pre-installed SSD windows 10, bsod: driver pnp watchdog. I can't boot USB flash drive Hiren boot CD or linux mint.
