my dear son if the password is supervisor password doesn't work bin file and bios dump the supervisor password remove replace the security chip on the board.

I have the same board - system working, but bios has password which i dont know, i can upload my 16 MB bin

X240 BIOS FILE/Clean ME HELP

Hello!

I recently bought two X240 Laptops, which had 5 beeps on startup.

I flashed the BIOS Chip with a DUMP-File I found on Google, that resulted in the machines working.
I used a CH341, chip is W25Q128FV

However, the ME Firmware Version is missing in the BIOS which causes it to be very slow on boot (takes about 20 sec before Lenovo logo appears.

As far as I've understood I need a clean ME on the dump-file for it to work properly.

Can anybody help me with this?

Doesnt seem to work I'm afraid, I only get light on power button for 1 sec then it dies again :/
I think my original bios files were completely corrupt so might need to ''fix'' a dump file if that is possible?
