      Hello, i have a guestion to gcomputers. I have e6510 with 1F5A. I programmed a flash you bin file (E6510 1f5a to2a7b.rar) but the service tag is stil 1F5A.

              I have a question for imranromi, i have e6510 with 1f5a as well,
              in what location would i need to replace the 1f5a value for 2a7b..?
              if i do a search in the binary for 1f5a i get allot of results, and i guess they do not all need to be replaced.?

                actually this laptop model the bios password store in i/o chip mec...... Your question is how to search and edit i don't try edit THIS laptop e6510 service tag last 4 digit 1f5a but same laptop comes for me working and i save bios and last 4 digit 2a7b/1d3b.and finally i save and try bios flash change service tag.i think you can answer your question techman1025.
