i have another mx bios chip which i can erase, can use that. still this programmer and software should support this chip, maybe it has some write protection?

Re: How to extract fd. from exe. (solved)

      Solved finally
reflashed bios via programmer and it worked although had loads of mistakes while doing it. bad bios chip, after that too small size bios chip and got errors on boot, it had deleted data which went above chip size 1mb.

After trying to flash acer travelmate 7520g bios multiple times i ended up checking under heatsink and saw intel cpu T7500, found out it was actually acer extensa 5220 board inside 7520g travelmate case lol. 7520g has amd cpu.

extensa bios dumps didnt work cause t7500 isnt even supported cpu for that model chipset even with latest bios, so i dloaded modded bios and its working now, had to also change ram memory from 667mhz to 800mhz or it crashed instantly.

uploaded this working bios file, it has hidden bios options aswell. thx for trying help in thread

same dump should work on these aswell:
      Extensa 5220
      Extensa 5620
      Extensa 5620G
      Extensa 5620Z
      Extensa 5620ZG
      TravelMate 5320
      TravelMate 5720
      TravelMate 5720G

Unable to extract Lenovo BIOS file from installer
            by survivalbloke
I'm working on a Lenovo LOQ 15APH8, Serial# MP2L9MAV. I want to flash a new BIOS onto it, but I'm also trying to learn this process for my own enrichment and professional development.

I was watching some tutorials, copying the serial info blocks from the old bios to a new bios. Before that though, they use innoextract on the Lenovo .exe. I downloaded Innoextract v1.9 but it tells me my .exe is not a supported inno setup installer(see screenshot). So if I unpack this using 7zip, I do get a .ROM file, but according to my tutorials, I'm looking for a .FD file.

            How can...

HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns - Complete Black Screen - Only video on live usb
            by iZakre
            Hello everybody!

To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.

The thing is that I had installed TeamViewer and could log into the computer...

NT955XED (Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro - 15.6) BIOS dump file Request
            by Citymin
            Hi all,

My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

Notice to users of XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76 programmers regarding BIOS backup file size
            by m1ch43lzm
            Hi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
            Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76

Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
There's also an extra OTP Secu.R...
