Hi, how are you guys doing? I have a case with a toshiba satellite l50-b-18e laptop which turned on normal until I open it to clean ram. After putting lid does not start is left the light on the blue power connector and when battery is changed to red. The power button has the 3v and goes down to 0v when I press it. By dismissal I assume it is bios. And I would need your help to locate the bios of this laptop. Thanks in advance

Neoblink, did you fix that issue, cause i have the same here with my toshiba l50-b-23f dablidmb8e0 rev e?
Found you guys via google, having similar issue I think so thought Id bump the old thread.
Toshiba L50-B PTSKNA 02RO16, I think it has Insyde BIOS (the DL for the precise machine from Toshiba has Insyde apps in it), but Im unsure. Mobo is dablidmb8e0 rev e as Ive looked inside.
Machine was slow and lost an AMD display driver but the system ran off the Intel and a newer AMD driver might have worked, unsure., Device manager said it was fine. I went to factory reset but seems Win 10 killed off the recovery partition for 8.1. No matter how I tried to effect a reset, it failed and the only OS option if offfered under any of hte chpoices was Win 10. 8.1 seems to be gone. So I attempted to do a fresh install with Win 10, and DLed a heap of drivers from Toshiba site.
So I just did a reinstall from a Win 10 disc. Machine seemed to install fine, walked away and leftit do its thing and when i came back and it was blank screen, no lights. Left for a while, nothing changed so thought maybe it shut down.
When I went to power it up, I get the usual flashing white light around power button, a few greens around keyboard and then all lights stopped after maybe 5 flashes. No sounds, no fan, no hdd, nadda.
Johnny boy I am having a simliar issue however mine is due to loading ubuntu 17.xx that corrupted my kernel. I didn't realise until after I wiped the drive to reload an os about the bios issue. So I can't do any of the standard fixes. If you find a way of resetting I would also love to hear.
