    Toshiba L50-A-1DC corrupted bios

    Hi guys!

    I need your help.

    I tried to update the BIOS to my laptop and now it wont start. I have black screen and the only thing I see is that the power LED is on.

    Can someone tell which is the correct procedure to do an emergency blind flash or whatever is called? I tried various key sequences, various names of the firmware file, FAT or FAT32 to my usb stick but I am confused because I cant find anything specific for my laptop.

    The exact laptop model is

    SATELLITE L50-A-1DC

    PSKK6E-04705LGE

    I hope someone will help me!

      When did you bought it? If it is under two years, sent it for warranty.

          you need to remoov the EEPROM on your Motherboard and use a Programmer (MiniPro) to reprogram it with appropriate firmware

              Hello everyone, I happen to have a Microsoft Surface Pro X 1876 in my hands. It was brought to me by a friends which happen to have taken off the bios chip to test another motherboard. Upon putting back the bios chip on the original motherboard, The PC is stucked on Windows logo and won t boot to bios or anything. I suspect that the changes of bios chip somehow corrupted the firmware inside. Is the hypothesis correct?

              Hello all

              Model - Satellite P55-A5104SL
              Mainboard - VGSG MB Ver:2.1
              All flashing done w/CH341 adapter & EEPROM chips off board.

              PROBLEM:

              After updating from BIOS 1.70 to 1.90, it shows Toshiba logo and halts. I narrowed it down to a possibly corrupted BIOS. How do I know? There is no similar machine in the forums, so I tried a dump for another model with same mainboard (L50-A-19N) provided by @ala_borbe in this thread. Flashed this on both BIOS & ME_FW chips and the laptop came to life again! BUT, with these symptoms:

              Hello, the bios on my Lenovo TD350 ThinkServer got corrupted during a bios update, the bios restore function killed the Server.
              I need to flash the bios inside the MX25L12835F SOP8, i have already desolder the chip and solder it into my SOP8 adapter and read it with a ROM programmer.
              I use the innoextract 1.9 software to extract the bios file from the .exe file that i download from lenovo website, can you help me edit the Hex file (removing the Index part and resize the file)?
