samsung 540u i5 can't go in bios setup.

happy new years guys....

i just have a question for this laptop samsung 540u i5 ultrabook windows 8 it just crash after windows update according to client.

when trying to windows recovery button (F4) it does't work.

trying to go bios setup cant do either. i press f2, del, f10,

what do you thinks is wrong?

Try with an external keyboard.

Does it have any key, like assist, in order to get to recovery options? Try to power the laptop on from that button. Newer models due to UEFI require this. It won't allow you to press any key during the windows start up.

You can't enter the BIOS/UEFI on a Windows 8 machine until has been shut down properly, it's just in sleep/hibernation mode otherwise.
The shift key needs pressing whilst you click shutdown. Then the BIOS/UEFI can be entered.
