Hello,
Would anyone have the dump or bin file for a np300e5c-a09us scala3-15-17crv BA41-01979A.
There is absolutely no other way for me to repair this bios besides a programmer. Any and all help would be appreciated and thank you in advance.
Yes I did however these are the incorrect bios files. The bios I need will end in RAP, more specifically P02RAP.bin .... I do however appreciate the response.
ala_borbe is correct, they are not the same, I have tried them to to ensure (praying) but no dice. The good news is, I did find the bios.bin file, the bad news= the error report from the programmer claims the file is to long! I can't figure out why. I have flashed the exact chip with an 8mb bios file with no error. This bios file reads 8mb however I get the error message "file is too long"? Is there something included in the file that I'm missing that can be removed? If so, it's extremely small. HELPERS? anyone? Thanks in advance.
I don't have a backup file, I'm actually comparing the bios file to a random 8mb bios file. That's actually why I needed the bios, without it the laptop is useless. The previous owner decided he knew best, he and a cohort decided to wipe the chip after a bad bios flash. Now I'm trying to get the Laptop bios loaded back in. So I tried several Samsung bios.bin files that were 8mb with no error, this one is 8mb and returns an error. I'm guessing that there is a tiny useless file somewhere that can be deleted. I can provide the file, however, I cannot provide a comparable backup file.
I loaded both, a random Samsung 8mb bios driver and the Samsung 8mb bios driver I needed side by side into a hex editor. Running them in comparable mode does nothing except show they are similar at the starting hex and ending hex. That was to be expected, why lie I was hoping something would magically stand out. Maybe a red highlighted section within the bios that said "delete me I don't care".....
