    Lenovo S145-15IKB Bios Request

    I have a Lenovo laptop :

    Lenovo Ideapad S145-15IKB
    Model Name: 81VD
    SN: PF2DRJX1

    i3 8th gen

    GS44B/GS54B/NM-C561
    REV: 1.0
    2019-05-30

    that was power cycling, white light on power led turning on and off, fan spinning on and off (the same problem dicky96 had, watch the youtube channel).

    Some voltages were present.

    I tried downloading and flashing clean bios cscn17ww.bin from post 72 from peste from thread " lenovo IdeaPad S145 bios needed

    After the flash i got all voltages except on coil PL5901 and the laptop is not power cycling anymore, the power light stays on, fan spins but i get no picture.

    Is running the DMI script necessary or does it only hold data like serial number and so?

          Thank you for helping.

          I flashed the bios file and the simptopms stayed the same. I only have Ch431A programmer so i cannot flash the ec chip.

          Ill buy a EC programmer , you never know when you will need it

              I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
              So I thought it was a Bios problem.
              I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

              Hello there.

              I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

              History:

              1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

              So a couple of years ago i got a bios update through Lenovo Vantage, so i installed it and bricked my whole BIOS, so i couldn't fix it so i put that ideapad in a box, 3 years later i found that one PC and want to recover it to switch from a 2014 hp laptop to this one.
