The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
the file is zipped and inside the .bin is 16.778.752 byte
the length of the 16MB bios must be 16,777,216...the length of your bios is 16,778,752...and I'm telling you that your bios is longer than the correct bios...what didn't you understand?

I made more copies and i post the new one. The programmer i have is TL 866 II PLUS and the ic size is 16777216 + 0xC00 Bytes as it says. The only difference was that the chip is 128D and not 128C. Please look the new file and i guess i am not doing anything wrong with reading...

bios extracted from the HP website update for HP Laptop 15s-eq1017nv (312J4EA), the laptop has two bios variants, yours is 08707
