Hi, I hope someone can help me with this, my Dell G15 Ryzen Edition does not post anymore (black screen, no Windows boot, no BIOS screen) after Windows Update pushed what appears to be a buggy bios image, I've tried the following with no success:
- Receive help from Dell Support (it is out of warranty).
- Disconnect machine from AC power and battery overnight.
- BIOS recovery process
- Connected external display via HDMI
- Disassembled machine and found bios chip, its a Gigadevice 25LR128DSIG (GD25LR128DSIG), at first I tried to get it detected by CH341A (with clamp) with no success. It got detected after trying with clamp and motherboard on connected to AC power.
Problem is I do not have original BIOS backup, and the bios images I have found on the internet for this model, do not work. I am out of ideas, I've seen on internet that it is possible to build the correct bios from original Dell .exe package but I'm not sure how to do it or if it is possible to recover my bios.
Motherboard shows this model: LA-K453P
Service Tag is: G0VT7K3
I hope someone can shed a light on this or it is permanently bricked? Thank you in advance
pd: sorry for my english, not my native language
