BIOS for ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA507NU

Try this new virgin bios

Just did, it does the same thing, so Im sure now the problem is the other chip, the bios one has the label 25ru256cxiq and next to it there's another one that has the label 25q16jwniq, that last one wont be detected properly with the programmer, it says that is an unknow chip, I have a few new ones and those appear with no problem, I attach the file that I could read the first time since it no longer reads anything at all, but I have no idea what it does or the firmware it should have, hope somebody has the same laptop and can share the file

Hi dear members,

I am having some trouble with my ASUS TUF A15 (FA507NU) laptop.

I modified Manufacturer data (system information + base board/module information) using DMIEDIT.exe 5.20.0042 on my FA507NU laptop - AND CAN'T CHANGE IT BACK!
Now Armoury Crate app won't recognize my laptop as a device.

I tried reverting to an older bios version (310) to see if I can modify DMI data, but it seems like I have to find another solution.
I heard that I might have to hex-edit my bios which is kinda scary to me.

Please let me know if you can help me unlocking DMI editing on my bios.

post merged...next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model, etc.

post the original contents of the bios chip..

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..
