    Thinkpad E15 Gen 4 AMD NM-E501 bios

Hello, I have a Thinkpad E15 Gen 4 laptop. It appears to be starting as I can hear the fan spin and the cpu gets properly hot. However, no video and no keyboard action on start

I suspect corrupted BIOS. Please, someone help me clean the BIOS image. Thank you

Hey, I applied the new BIOS. I can clearly see progress. Before the keyboard stayed dark. After applying the new BIOS, "Esc", "Caps Lock", "F1" and "F4" keys now briefly flash which is what I was expecting.

They are supposed to flash 2 more times before getting the image on the screen but that didn't happen.

Can you see whether you can make additional changes to the BIOS?

No, your hardware is still not stable.

The bios file you provided did make changes in the computer's behavior. As I mentioned before the changes, no keyboard lights. After the reflashing of the bios, computer attempts to boot with several keyboards keys flashing.

Upon reflashing the bios with the new bin, I am now getting a brief screen flash as well as those 4 keys briefly lighting up. Then, nothing. Computer is now drawing a little more amperage, around 0.64 vs. 0.59 before

I tried this new BIOS file and I am still getting the same response from the computer. I suspect RAM could be faulty. The 4th gen of Thinkpad E14/15 comes with soldered 8GB of RAM for both Intel and AMD processors

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

                            Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                            Initial Findings:
                            • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                            • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                            • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
                            Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
                            • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
                            • I concluded that the

                            by Loki_Fido
Hi everyone, hope everyone's having a great day.

                            I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga Gen 3 for repair. (20LES3T900)
I looked in every corner and the laptop seems fine. Its pulling 500mA but no display, no noise, nothing.

So I assume its a BIOS issue. I downloaded the BIOS with CH341A and opened it on ME Analyser and didn't receive any errors.
Does this mean the BIOS is fine? making it a hardware issue?

I downloaded fresh BIIOS from the Lenovo site and used Hex Editor replace the Lenovo's BIOS into my BIOS region. But the file size ended up being...

                            by FalconPunch
Hello everyone, I happen to have a Microsoft Surface Pro X 1876 in my hands. It was brought to me by a friends which happen to have taken off the bios chip to test another motherboard. Upon putting back the bios chip on the original motherboard, The PC is stucked on Windows logo and won t boot to bios or anything. I suspect that the changes of bios chip somehow corrupted the firmware inside. Is the hypothesis correct?

Also i extracted the bios inside the chip which was on Winbond 25R128JWPQ you can find the file attached if you can fix it (if possible, I would like some insight on...

                            by bannermast
Hello, it seems to me that my thinkpad P50's BIOS is corrupted. I tried to boot it up and the power button would only blink 3 times green. The serial number is missing from the bottom of the chassis so I'm not sure what to do. I hope it's not the motherboard that's broken......

Lenovo Thinkpad X1 carbon 11th Gen BIOS problem

                            Hi everyone.

I have an engineering sample of a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 11th Gen (TYPE 21HM-2FVT05, S/N PF-40G7CD) with an Intel Core i7 1360P (ES – Intel 0000). Since this is an engineering sample, the BIOS had a massive number of various settings. One day, I was experimenting with the BIOS settings and, after saving them, the laptop stopped booting and played a melody after pressing the power button, signaling error code 0002 (Internal bus error), just like in this post: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...shooting-lapto...
