        i got this laptop too but the problem is there is 2 caps lock blink every time. i had tried to update bios but problem same.

              If you are sure the BIOS file is good, yes, try reballing the Intel PCH. Is the intel chipset HM55? There have been some reports here of these chips going bad so it may need replacement.

                it was reballing.....

                    I had 3 cq57 with almost same problem and I replace the board.
