i have hp 15-ec2150ax , super io chip is damaged , installed new one but it seems i have to program it first , could not find the ec part in the hp bios using hexeditor

thank you so much , i flashed both after transfering dmi and keywin to the new dump, the laptop still dead, ec requirments are there , but rsmrst still missing, checked all pis , they are all soldered ok to the motherboard , any suggestions?

Hello is it possible to recover whole bios on new chip? Last bios chip was cracked so no data for me. Would it work if I flash on new chip extracted bios from hp site? Is there a tool to rewrite MAC and so on to new bios? Newbie here. Thanks in advance 😘.

you can write the bios extracted from the site onto a new chip...there are several methods to pass the DMI information into the new bios...some laptops work, others don't...anyway, if the bios chip is broken, you don't have many options...so if it works, if it doesn't, no...

Ok, so I can not add Mac and serial number to new bios? Bad thing is I only have palmrest with motherboard, cooling and charger.

THIS laptop its powering on & off, already worked in another shop, i tried all bios from this site & tried flashing from extracting HP website still same problem. All basic voltages are ok, the bios attached here may not be the original bios.

I flashed it, still same issue, when i power on power button light comes for 2 sec & powers off
