there is no *.bin file. File with *.FD extension. Unpacked into the Temp folder when you run the firmware exe file

    Hello everyone,

I'm bumping this thread as I'm facing an identical BIOS issue with my Acer Aspire A114-33, and the file previously shared here is no longer available for download.

During some experimentation in the advanced BIOS settings, I modified options related to SKUs and Cd Clock Frequency. After saving the changes, the laptop no longer displays any image (black screen, no HDMI output), although it still shows signs of life (fan spins, CPU warms up, keyboard LEDs respond – like Caps Lock – and it does not emit any error beeps).

I urgently need the clean BIOS binary file (.bin or .rom) for my Acer Aspire A114-33 (Celeron N4500 processor) to flash it using an external programmer (CH341A).

Additionally, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has information regarding a "Crisis BIOS Recovery" mode via USB for this specific model (Acer Aspire A114-33). If such a method exists, can it be done using the .bin file once I acquire it, and what specific key combinations or steps would be required? I have 32GB/64GB USB drives, formatted to FAT32, available for this.

If anyone could re-upload the file or provide guidance on how to perform a viable "Crisis BIOS Recovery," I would be extremely grateful. The laptop is in perfect cosmetic condition, and all other components (non-soldered DDR4 RAM with 2 slots, NVMe SSD, screen, battery) are fully functional.

Thank you very much in advance for any assistance!

          🛠️ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 – No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
          by macabook
          Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
          🧩 Initial Issue
          • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
          • External display (HDMI) shows

Acer Nitro 50-640E Corrupted BIOS Dump
          by James194zt
          Hi,

My daughter has accidentally managed to kill her Acer gaming desktop it has a blank screen after updating and when you press the power button the fans spin, light comes on and it makes 1 long and 1 short beep and no attempt to boot.

All basic troubleshooting has been done we replaced CPU, GPU and RAM from a working machine and no joy, I also noticed a post on here with the same issue and it was the BIOS. I am pretty sure also because it was doing a BIOS update that stopped it working, she knocked the keyboard out by accident during the update and the screen just went...

Acer Aspire A717-71G - problem BIOS with keyboard
          by zarabota
          Hello,

I am experiencing the following issue with my laptop. I have an Acer Aspire A717-71G with a motherboard model C5MMH/C7MMH LA-E911P Rev. 1A. Unfortunately, the original board stopped working, so I purchased a replacement. The new board is the same model but a different revision (Rev. 1B). From what I understand, this should not cause compatibility problems.

However, the replacement board came with a BIOS version intended for the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51, which causes the keyboard to function incorrectly. I attempted to reflash the BIOS chip using a CH341A programmer...
