The keyboard lights are on as if the device is turning on but there is no display, it draws 0.98A current and turns off after a while, the current is 0.0740A but the on off light remains on,and power key not works

I destroyed my bios Chip.
Ordered a new one it will arrive tomorrow then i can test.

Had tried it now.
Laptop fans run from low to high then shutting off and restarting.
Sometimes it is giving backlight for 5 seconds and shuts off or showing me red,white,black,green screen and shuts off.
Any Idea?

I had the same yesterday with a Dell 3420 notebook with 8fC8 password after the modifying with 00FDAA 00FCAA didn't want to start anymore.
It worked with locked BIOS.
I built a new BIOS and there was a very strange behavior with the 3 series again.
I also had the same BIOS version with 1.32.1

tried the bios works perfectly.
You are correct it worked only on locked bios before maybe the System detects that the entries have changed on some important offsets or else.
Strange...
But thanks it works again!
How do you build a new BIOS?
Like is there a programm for it or what?
