    Help find BIOS Chip on Razer Book 13 rz09-0357

    Hello I have a Razer book model rz09-03571em1 that had a bad bios update a while back that put it out of commission. I have a chip programmer but am having a hard time locating the actual BIOS chip on the motherboard. I already have the BIOS file, but I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the chip or has any information on writing a new BIOS. Pictures of the board will be attached.

      The pics are very grainy but post the topside markings of the large 8 pin IC behind the wifi module. This looks to be a flash memory device.

          the markings seem to read MXIC MX25L6436F. I also attached an image, but it is very zoomed in to see the number.

                  Ok thanks. I wasn't sure if I was flashing the wrong chip or if I was just doing it wrong. I removed the chip and soldered it to the programmer but its still not working. I may just try and get a new BIOS chip that is prewritten.

                      First find the missing resistor and next time be more careful with nearby components when soldering.
