I noticed there's a lot of unlock request for this model HP ProBook 440 14 inch G9
The patch won't work if the bios version is latest. use this bin flash both it won't work if you only flash the main you should Flash Both.
first boot press f10 apply factory defaults and restart, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
use BCU and put your original DMI.
frequently asked questions:
can i use this to my HP ProBook 440 14 inch G9- yes
This is the both BID U72 and U85 its all you need.
This bios main is from official website then added VSSTORE and patched so its fast-boot & Clearme.
to determine your BID use hex editor and search U72 or U85 in your main bios bin, you know the rest.Leave a comment:

Hi, I need help to unlock bios passwords on two laptops, same model. I tried with hp unlock tool “HPUnlocker.ry”, with “HPUnlocker_v1” and “RCUnlocker_v_1_0” (this is not working with files bigger then 16 mb) without success. - s/n is 5CD2278SS7, ProdID is same - 6Q887ES#UUW, MoBo model is same - DAOX8SM8H1 REV H

Hope that this post is at the right place of the forum.
I am seeking help and technical advice to remove bios admin password from HP ProBook 4520s.
The laptop is operating normally and, I am not facing any major issue with it except; the bios admin password that I found about by coincidence only few weeks back.

I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
