Hello all, I've got Lenovo L15 G2 moderboard model : HL4A0/HL5A0 NM-D271 Rev. 1.0. Serial number on bottom lid : PF-3DWEHX. Type Number on bottom : 20X4-S56G00. Compliance ID : TP00121F2. The problem is that Laptop starts but beeping constantly and screen is black. I tried programm chip which is next to wifi card ( GigoDevice 25R256DYIG) with bin's from this forum but problem is the same. Any one able to help with this please? Also laptop have bios password, I set that long time ago and I don't remember.Comment

Hello,
I am revisiting one of my first laptops I began working on and broke the bios chip (rookie mistake...). I unfortunately was never able to get any data off of the chip since it broke on removal. I have since gotten a replacement. Would anyone be able to provide a clean bios for this laptop? I am also a bit confused in regards to the bios chip. It is a GigaDevice 25R256DYIG. I can't locate it on any of the programmers I use. Info below. Thank you for any help!

I have tried using online bins, but every one I use is ineffective. PC wont turn on at all, just blinks 3 times when plugged in. Due to not finding the chip in the programmers, I used CH341A Programmer and it came up as a W25Q256FV. I have been trying to use that but no luck. Any help please is appreciated!Comment

Hello, unfortunately, the BIOS is asking me for the password again.
The chip was also erased before I could write anything to it.
After flashing the new file, the BIOS repaired itself, rebooted, and had a password again.

I have an engineering sample of a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 11th Gen (TYPE 21HM-2FVT05, S/N PF-40G7CD) with an Intel Core i7 1360P (ES – Intel 0000). Since this is an engineering sample, the BIOS had a massive number of various settings. Good day. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong topic. I saw somebody selling a Thinkpad E495 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU near me. In the pictures the laptop is running windows 10. I contacted the seller and asked a few questions about upgradability and if it has a bios password on it. He confirmed it has a bios password. I searched through the forum, I found a guide regarding removing the bios password using the autopatcher, I also found a thread with the e495 where people requested help with unlocking the bios password.

Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
