Hi guys! This is BIOS dump from my laptop. I can't troubleshoot any bugs with it... So please don't ask me about something. This is just a dump.
I will soon attach a motherboard so you can see whats really here.
Here's what flashrom says about it:

            flashrom v1.6.0 on Linux 6.19.10-300.fc44.x86_64 (x86_64)
flashrom is free software, get the source code at https://flashrom.org

            No DMI table found.
            Found chipset "Intel Meteor Lake-P/M".
Enabling flash write... Warning: Setting BIOS Control at 0xdc from 0x88 to 0x89 failed.
            New value is 0x88.
            SPI Configuration is locked down.
            FREG0: Flash Descriptor region (0x00000000-0x00003fff) is read-write.
            FREG1: BIOS region (0x02a00000-0x03ffffff) is read-write.
            FREG2: Management Engine region (0x00004000-0x00efffff) is read-write.
            FREG8: EC/BMC region (0x00f00000-0x029fffff) is read-write.
Enabling hardware sequencing because some important opcode is locked.
            PROBLEMS, continuing anyway
            ========================================================================
You may be running flashrom on an unknown laptop. We could not
detect this for sure because your vendor has not set up the SMBIOS
tables correctly. Some internal buses have been disabled for
safety reasons. You can enforce using all buses by adding
            -p internal:laptop=this_is_not_a_laptop
to the command line, but please read the following warning if you
            are not sure.

Laptops, notebooks and netbooks are difficult to support and we
recommend to use the vendor flashing utility. The embedded controller
(EC) in these machines often interacts badly with flashing.
            See the manpage and https://flashrom.org/contrib_howtos/laptops_and_ec.html
            for details.

If flash is shared with the EC, erase is guaranteed to brick your laptop
and write may brick your laptop.
Read and probe may irritate your EC and cause fan failure, backlight
            failure and sudden poweroff.
            You have been warned.
            ========================================================================
            Unable to identify chip, mfg_id: 0xf7, model_id: 0xf030
Found Programmer flash chip "Opaque flash chip" (65536 kB, Programmer-specific) on internal.
            Reading flash... done

post merged...next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

Yes, That's correct. How can I read it with svod4?
There is one more W25Q128JW Bios. Is it EC BIOS?

I accidentally erased the EC EEPROM without making a dump.
Could anyone share a dump of it, or show me how to rebuild a EC binary file from the BIOS upgrade package .FL2 file.

                    Machine Type Number: 21LS
                    MB: LT4E1 NM-F832
                    EC Chip: MEC1723
                    EC EEPROM: W25Q128JWEM (16MiB)

                    Thanks!

Hi, Post the Serial Number and BIOS backup to determine your exact ECP Version
However, the 128Mb chip you're referring to isn't the "EC EEPROM" W25Q128JWEM (16MiB)

Hi, this device is a prototype unit (Rev. 0.2) equipped with an ES CPU. It was previously running without any issues on BIOS N64ET17W (1.07) and EC N64HT12W (1.01). However, after a firmware update via Windows Update, the system became bricked.

Initially, it showed the three keyboard LEDs lighting up sequentially, which typically indicates memory training, but it never proceeded to boot even after waiting for over an hour. After flashing a dump provided in this thread, the device became completely unresponsive. The charging indicator still lights up, but there is no reaction when pressing the power button.

Here is the dump from the 512Mb chip. I’m not sure about the role of the 128Mb chip—when I first checked and attempted to dump it, it appeared to be all FF. I’m concerned that I may have accidentally erased it.

I see. In that case, make another backup just in case, then see which of these BIOS files works for you

                                    Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                                    Hi everyone,
I need help repairing/fixing my corrupted BIOS dump for a Lenovo ThinkCentre M73 Tiny.
                                    Motherboard Details:

                                    • Lenovo FRU: 03T7239
                                    How the problem happened:
The motherboard was working perfectly before. The issue started after a failed BIOS update that was interrupted by Windows Security settings. After the interruption, the PC was still able to boot into Windows but I could not enter the BIOS setup at all.
To fix this, I performed the Hardware Boot Block Recovery procedure using the motherboard jumper (Clear/Recovery pin 2-3) and a FAT32...
